Education Degree
The Center for Teacher Education (CTE) offers undergraduate licensure programs in Early Childhood, Elementary, Secondary, and K-12 education. Start with our Associate in Science in Early Childhood Management degree and take a position teaching or managing operations in a child development center or continue on to earn your bachelor’s degree for more career opportunities. Structured field and technology experiences, beginning with the first education course, get our students in the classroom for meaningful engagement with educators and P-12 students.

Several online degrees from associates to doctorate levels are available. Once you’re on the teacher certification track, your advisor and Dr. William Warner will serve as your Education and Certification Officer to ensure you meet all requirements to become a certified teacher in Pennsylvania.

Each Elementary Education Department faculty member holds at least a master’s degree in education. Our technical degrees (A.A.S.) and certificates launch you into a career. Being a degree holder of early childhood education, you can even enjoy your job profile at various day care centers or child oriented Head Start programs as well.

NOTE: The Associate of Arts in Teaching degree has three very distinct specialization areas leading to teacher certification. Our faculty members are experienced teachers and administrators in K-12 schools. You will earn your online Elementary Education degree by completing 120 credit hours.

Early Childhood Education Degrees
